A room so large and grand it is paradise for every bibliophile.

Skylar scaned the room in need of a good book to read, hopefully a poetry book. The further back she traveld the larger the book, stopping at a random place she pointed to a book. Reading the last page she smiled "tenderness?" She questioned the title to her-self. It was a thriller, of course, she enjoyed this book.

Chase came up behind the girl, reaching over her head and plucking the book out of her hand. He popped a minty bubble, the scent wafting around them, and clinging to her fibers, making her smell MORE minty. He looked at the cover, his eyebrows raising in surprise.

"What are you reading, here, girly?" He asked, opening to the first page and reading the gory paragraph. His lip twitched in disgust.

"Ew, okay. Just...yuck." He said, laughing and turning away from her, book still in hand. He popped another bubble.

At that moment Elijah took the book from the red headed boy "it's not nice to pick on people"

Chase's eyes widened, his mouth twitching downward momentarily. "She doesn't mind..." He said, staring up at the much taller boy. He turned to Skylar, shrugging.

"I guess I'm sorry." He said, popping a bubble of gum, the minty scent surrounding them.

Elijiah frowned at Chase "You should be nicer, nobody at this place has any manners"

Felicity wandered around the corner hearing the familiar voice of her friend. She smiled when she saw him getting after Chase. She walked over and pulled gently on the bottom of his shirt, smiling up at him.

"That's his girlfriend, he's entitled to pick on her." She said, her voice holding an ounce of duh in it.

Skylar looked up at the two boys and sighed "its fine Chase" she said and plucked another book off the shelf. It was a small book with a baseball on the top of a glove. "Here read this Minty" she said not noticing Elijah.

"What is it?" Chase asked, plopping down on his girlfriend's lap with mock nonchalance. He situated himself on her, and then began reading the back of book.

"Its called a novel, you read it" she teased wrappping her slender arms around his waist. "Gosh, its about a catcher who is left for dead when his plane crashed" she said smiling up at him. Taking a small sniff of him she closed her eyes.

"Well I know what it is!" He said, laughing, opening to the middle of the book and beginning to read it. He popped another minty bubble, acting as though it was perfectly normal to open to the middle of a book and start there.

Skylar shook her head and yawned "its not normal to read that way" she said messing with his hopeless hair. With sigh she looked around him "how much dor you weigh?" She asked with frowning eyes.

He laughed, shaking his head and messing it up, more. "It's normal for me." He stated, proceeding to make a huge show of turning the book upside down. "This is also normal."

He turned suddenly serious as he processed the next question. He turned his eyes away, "118 pounds." He lied.

Skylar thought about it and shrugged "you don't weigh a lot for a man" she said with a frown. "You should eat better, more sweets" she said with a playful glint in her eyes.

Skylar looked at him with a quizzical face "you are simply imperfect in a perfect way" she said.

He sighed. "I weight 91.3 pounds." He said, averting her gaze. "And I don't like sweets." He added, almost forlornly.

He cracked a smile. "That's sweet of you, coming from the most perfect girl in the entire UNIVERSE!"

Skylar looked at him confused "have you been talking to my mother?" She asked jokingly.

"And I can't belive you don't like sweets, I love them...maybe that's why I'm pudgy" she said poking her flat stomach.

"No....what's your mother like?" He asked, turning so he could throw his legs over the arm of the chair, the way he was sitting made his protruding ribs even more prominent. He could see her face perfectly now.

"And you are so far from fat it's not even funny. I wish I was as skinny as you." He said, throwing one arm around her shoulders a smile on his pretty face.

Skylar smiled and keeping her hands on his wait. "Hmm she's like a picture perfect mother, over protective, supportive, and she cliings on to me for dear life" she said her eyes filled with happiness. She loved her mother, more than she would admit.

"You are skinnier than me Mr. 93.1 pounds" she said with a frown."Your so...so, odd" she said.

He laughed. "I may weigh less, but that doesn't make my body smaller."

Celestine waited in the Library for Rinami.

"Point taken but you just tall, that's all you are, tall and strong" Skylar said and started her book.

Chase smiled at her, and kissed the top of her head, then he returned to the middle of his book, kicking his legs back and for gently, humming a tune under his breath.

Rinami walked, well, stumbled would be a better word, into the library, a stack of 10 heavy books in her arms.

Celestine helped Rinami carry the books to their table. "We need to talk", Celestine said sadly.

"About what?" Rinami said, detecting sadness in Celestine's voice.
