"Yeah!" Chase said, pulling out his phone and texting quickly. "Besides, your mom will want whatever makes you happy, right?" He asked, petting her hair gently. The stitches on his skinny arm glinting in the harsh light.

"And I'll never leave you either."

Skylars eyes brightened up as she hugged him back watching his stiches intently. "Yes she is usually concerned about that" she said.

Skylar smiled her face was slightly fulshed from crying.

Chase smiled. "Overreaction over nothing!" He said, smiling down at her. He rolled his sleeve absently over his stitches. Biting his lip nervously.

"I also asked him to send me another pack of gum. I'm seriously low." He said smiling lightly.

Skylar blushed slightly "you overreacted too" she said.

Skylar nodded "yeah you've been chewing like nonstop" she said.

"We're both freaking out!" Chase said with a smile. "I think this asylum's driving us mad, eh?" He added, picking up a hint of Celestine's accent.

He smiled. "I've been chewing since the day my mother killed herself." He said softly. "It keeps me from eating."

Skylar nodded "I've never cried for someone before I was moved here...I think its making me worse."

She blinked "oh, so what happens if you run out?" She asked "do you eat?"

Raven heard Chase and Skylar and ran into the Library "CHASE!" Raven yalled with excitement as she gave him a big friendly hug then she gave Skylar one! "Hey guys!"

"Was I really that missed?" Chase asked, hugging Raven back. He smiled and popped his gum between his teeth.
