"I'm like the polar opposite of you. You're prettier." She stated matter-of-factly. "So don't argue with me." She smiled

Skylar started to argue back but closed her mouth. "Your still pretty" she said with a small smiled.

"So are you." McKenzie said, hobbling along with her crutches, trying to get the hang of them. "And you have a pretty boyfriend." She complimented.

Skylar blushed making sure Kenzie didn't fall. "I hate to sound, like a snob but, studies have shown I'm perfect, not pretty" she said. "But thank you, Kenzie" she added.

"You're welcome. And you don't sound like a snob." McKenzie said. "You obviously have OCD, which brings me back to Chase. He's completely uneven." She said with a smile.

Skylar frowned "OCD, no I'm sure I don't redo things until they are the way I like them." She said shaking her head. "I'm really just concerned with myself looking like the perfect girl" she informed.

"I see." McKenzie said. She hobbled around after getting her balance. "I think I got the hang of this." She said happily.

"I'm sure, you do but just incase I'll walk with you" she said smiliing.

Celestine lay in the ICU, IV's hooked to his arms, air being fed into his nostrils by tubes, his heart moniter showing a very faint but steady heart rythym. Docters were rushing around him running tests.

Skylar sighed spotting a ton of nicotien patches pulling them off she sighed. "Umm, I think he has too much nicotien in his system" she said looking at the doctors.

Celestine lay, he felt the pulling at his skin but nothing stirred him.

Doctors removed the patches quickly and allowed him to rest.

Skylar patted Celestines face he should be waking up now. "Hey mate, wakey wakey" she called leaning over him.

Celestine's eyes fluttered open, "Sk..Skylar,", he grabbed her hand.

Skylar smiled widely "I warned you about those patches" she said teasingly. Looking at her hand in his she smiled.

Celestine laced his fingers with hers, "Can you sing me Maggie Mae? It's a Liverpuddlian folk song, please", he said in a fatigued voice. He held her hand and smiled up at her

McKenzie came hobbling in quickly on her crutches, she hurried over to Celestine, and almost jumped on him, wrapping her arms around his neck.

"What happened?" She asked, tears brimming in her pretty blue eyes.

Skylar blushed "well, I don't know the words to it" she said using her free hand rub the back of her neck. "I'll siing it with you" she said. "Errr, we probaly shouldn't be holding hands" she said removing her hand.

Celestine wrapped his arms around McKenzie and began sobbing. He then began singing the song of his childhood.

McKenzie had her thumb in her mouth and was staring up at Celestine like a small child being rocked to sleep, her eyes were half lidded, and she had a small sleepy smile on her face.

Celestine continued his song.

The next day when I awoke, I was flat and stony broke

McKenzie's eyes were closed, her chest rising and falling in even patterns, her thumb firmly implanted in her mouth.

Celestine held her close to him, he had decided not to finish the final verse in fear of waking up McKenzie, instead he held her and caressed her hair.[code]

Skylar smiled at the two and kissed Celestine on the forehead. "I'll see you later" she wisphered to him softlybefore walking away. She was humming the tune Celestine had just said and went back to the gym, she needed to finish running.

McKenzie woke up, looking around blankly. She shook Celestine gently. "Hey, get up." She whispered. Smiling at him, she took his glasses off and set them on the table, not wanting them to break in his sleep.

"Hey what happened?" Rinami asked as she walked into the room. "I heard everyone was here and came as fast as I could."
