An eerie room, filled with barrels of apples.

Kirai cautiously made her way down the steps and into the cellars. The air smelled musty and had a slightly fruity scent. She walked past a high window that had bars across its surface instead of glass and she reached a splintered barrel. She pulled its lid over and peered in, only green apples.

"Hello?" McKenzie called as she came in, she saw her old friend Kirai, the one whom she'd sort of grown up with. She smiled hugely, running over to the other woman, she hugged her slightly.

"How have you been?" She asked, her blue eyes sparkling slightly. She bit her lip as she stepped away from Kirai, observing the purple bags under her eyes, McKenzie hadn't been sleeping right for years, but at least she wore makeup.

She sighed, smiling at Kirai. The woman had always been quirky, even in childhood.

Rinami peeked out from a barrel of apples she had been reading in when she heard people talking. "Hey, what are you guys doing here?" she asked, lifting the lid and standing up, a couple apples falling out of the barrel.

"Oh hi there!" Kirai said a bit uneased from the sudden hug. Kirai gave her a small smile and said," Glad you made it here all right." She quickly pulled an apple from the barrel and pocketed it. She looked over to Rinami and replied,"Reuniting."

McKenzie stared at Rinami with wide eyes for a moment, before bursting out in melodic laughter. She couldn't help it. Rinami popping out from a barrel of apples was too amusing. She bite her lip, and looked away.

"I'm sorry." She apologized still giggling. "We're just catching up. I haven't seen Kirai in quite awhile. What are you doing in a barrel?" She said, tilting her head, her small braids separating from her hair in a childish manner.

"Reading," Rinami answered, holding back laughter. "So, you guys know each other?" she asked, hopping out of the barrel and grabbing her book.

"Yes, you could say that." Kirai said looking over to Mckenzie with a relieved expression.

"We used to." McKenzie said. "We sort of met on the streets once in awhile. You could call it fate." She said smiling largely at both of them, her eyes wide and trusting.

"What book are you reading?" She asked, clasping her hands behind her back, and looking at Rinami.

"Harry Potter. Again," Rinami answered. She had read all of them at least 3 times, but didn't know what else to read.

"Ooh! I love Harry Potter." McKenzie said smiling brightly. "I think Draco and Snape are the best." She added, she turned to Kirai.

"I can't wait to meet my patients." She said her eyes bright and smiling.

Kirai sighed and placed the lid of the barrel back on. Looks like the circle is complete now. There's finally three of us. she thought. "I'm more of a Dumbledore person." she said.

"But watch out, some of them can be reeeeally crazy," Rinami said, walking over to Mckenzie and Kirai.

A look of fear crossed McKenzie's face. "The Ward C's? I heard the Ward A's were who you had to watch out for." She said, looking sorrowfully at Kirai. She looked back at Rinami.

"I'm actually worried about the guy. He's a major, and bigger than me. I've never trusted boys anyway." She said, glancing at her list. She raised her eyebrows.

Kirai's eyebrow raised,"Oh yeah, my ward's the most dangerous, because we're extremely gorgeous you'll be blown away." she said, her facial expression softening.

"You have to watch out for all of them, but some aren't that bad," Rinami said.

"That's just what I've heard!" McKenzie said defensively to Kirai, a small smile on her face. She turned to Rinami. "I'm afraid of him, I can't pronounce his name." She pointed to Celestine's file.

((Who would be afraid of CELESTIN?!))

"Rinami's just jealous." Kirai said lightly," May I remind you of Nenavist'?"

"Oh gosh, not THAT again!" Rinami said, "for the last time, he's a fictional character, and I DON'T like him."

McKenzie laughed. "I'd kill for a fictional boyfriend. They're all charming and beautiful." She said, gently. Her eyes taking on a dreamy look.

"Yeah, but I don't want a fictional boyfriend," Rinami said as she turned towards Kirai,"and especially not Nenavist'."

"She knows she doesn't mean that." Kirai said, playfully. "Are you okay Mckenzie?" Kirai asked turning her attention back to the young woman.

McKenzie snapped out of her daydream. "Yeah, I was just daydreaming about the perfect boyfriend." She said with a girly laugh. "Don't worry about me."

"Heh, I daydream alot too," Rinami said, setting her book on the floor.

"I suppose it's part of being a reader." McKenzie said, smiling again.
